Description
The product of extensive negotiations among diverse stakeholders during the recent interim, HB360 and SB30 represented a consensus set of reforms to New Mexico’s administrative procedures for rulemaking.
Outcome
HB360 died in the House Judiciary Committee. SB30 was tabled on the floor by the sponsor (Keller) after the Senate adopted an amendment that would have hamstrung the state’s ability to reduce carbon pollution.
