Description

HB 418 would have imposed additional requirements for the diversion and use of groundwater from the area of origin for use outside that area; it would have made it more difficult to divert water from one source to a different location lying outside of that ground water source. This bill would have made it easier to manage and conserve water resources at the watershed level.

Outcome

HB 418 died on the House calendar.
